THE NATURE OF  CARTOGRAPHY OF EARTH MASSES

            The chart of the earth masses  reflects  the nature of the vertical planning project and, more precisely, its part related to the foreseeable displacement of the land masses within the property (property) for the purpose of appropriate modeling and landscaping. From this point of view the chart of earth masses is a document through which a graphical representation of what this earth moving is expressed in. Ie. where it should be dug and where land should be erected in order to obtain the new terrain with heights and slopes provided for in the vertical planning plan.

THE DESIGNATION OF THE CARTOGRAPH EARTH MASSES E:

1. Provide the contractor of the investment project (the builder) with the necessary geodetic information about the exact locations of excavation / bulk operations in modeling the surrounding terrain;
2. Provide the required quantitative data (cubic meters) for the purpose  valuation of   excavation of the bulk and determination of the fees to be paid to the municipality in case of necessity to dispose of excess land masses at the disposal sites.

CARTOGRAPHY OF EARTH MASSES  CONTAINS GRAPHIC REFERENCES

• Graphical information is most often presented in the form of a precise square pattern  denoted by the appropriate symbolic signs (shading)  showing the plot of land where the land is being dismantled and the areas where earth mass is being dumped.
• The top of each square is shown with red digits - the design terrain elevation and with black figures the existing terrain elevation. A positive or a negative number indicates how much the project level should be lifted or lowered according to the current terrain.
• At the center of each square is shown the amount of embankment / ditch in cubic meters.
